I am tWENty years old... I think you all know what I deserve!

Hello everyone. It has been QUITE awhile. A lot has happened since lent (by the way I dropped out. I couldn't resist ryan.) Today was my birfday. Today I turned 20 years old. Sorry fellas. No longer your possible teenage dream. But! I may or may not be willing to be your twenties dream... whaaaaaaaaa??? I'm not even really sure what that means. ANYWAY. Today was great. I spent it with some of the greatest people in my life, my famdamily. They are great. Although we missed Corbin, Ali, Brian, and Aunt Ev. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN!)

There has been a sign on the guest bedroom door since I got home from Rexburg. It reads "Emily is not allowed in this room. Thank you, The management." Mother is so funny. I got to go in the room today! And guess what!!! John and Rainy surprised me with an awesome old desk and chair! I am so excited to fix them up!!! Talk about mother-daughter bonding time.

Dad also got me a peanut of my own! Now I don't have to use the scary broken one at school. HOORAY!!!

For this years festival I decided it would be wicked awesome to have a medievil swim slash karaoke party at the rental house! (see what I did there?! I mixed parents with rental! ... broseph) I was a little disappointed when no one showed up in their costumes. LAME! It's okay. We still had tonz'o'fun. We started off the night with food of course. Chel bell and mother made me my fave. CAFE RIO!!! It was delish as usual. After our bellies were stuffed, we decided to burn off some cals so we took it to the backyard for a very competitive game of croquet.

Team Pictures

It was all fun and games till the turtles got involved. Silly turtles. Always so needy!

Good thing Rainy was around to save the day with her brain! Genius mom... that's what she is!

Just gotta bait the turtles away from the game. SO SMART!
And she even dropped out of college! Just. Like. Me.

Anyway. After I practically won the tourney, we were all super sweaty from our work out that we took a lil dip in the pool.
Three Human Stack... Success.

Oh how bout one more. NO. Definite failure.

I'm just a little obsessed with this kid.

Grandma and Zodee

This next part contains adult content (kissing!) yikes!
Raelie was in a kissy mood obviously!

So was Jenna

After I opened Jeff and Jenna's present, (awesome owl ring) Jenna would only accept gratitude in the form of a direct kiss on the mouth. I was obviously a little shy. Probably because I'm practically a virgin again and also because it seemed SUPER LEZZY!!!! I mean come on Jenny. I know we're super close, but we're not blood!
This is my nervous face...

Here's the awesome ring jefferey and jennafur got me. Love it! Thanks guys!

Chels hand crafted me the cutest pin cushion. Someday I'll be as crafty as she is.
Chelsea=Best friend/Craft hero

Mitch and Krissy. Mitch is being bashful as usual. Good thing too... I would be nervous to show his nips on the internet. Thanks for covering up brother.

Raelyn takin her nightly bath in the sink... it's normal I think. She really enjoyed it though. You can tell by the way her face is.

My glorious mother did it again. Always takin care of my taste buds. MMMMMMMM I LOVE PINK LEMONADE PIE!!!! baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! It's the best.
Don't let the frown fool you. I was happy. That's just my party hard face. After awhile it just gets stuck like this. Stay in school kids.

Pretty sure everyone knew my wish. My fellow bloggers, believe me. I want to tell you. But I can't. I'm sorry.

So Mitch and Kristin thought it would be super fun to bring a pin(tilde)ata to the party. AND THEY WERE RIGHT! IT WAS FUN!! Mitch (bless his heart) thought he was buying a 20 pinata...

GUESS WHAT!!!! IT WAS A 50!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
Surprise!!! I'm fifty!

I'm fidy. I'm fidy and I know it!!

The boys had a little TOO much fun wackin at the darn thang.

People really shouldn't give me large amounts of candy at a time. I go cRaAaAzY!!!
SUGAR HIGH!!!! LOOK OUT!!!

It was a great birthday. Thanks to my favorite family in the whole world. You guys are the best. I love you all so much. MAMA, THANKS FOR BIRTHING ME INTO OUR FAMILY!!!!

Lent Lent Lent!!!

Oh hello. As you may have heard, it's that time of year again. Lent has finally arrived! I personally didn't even know what Lent even was until a few days ago. I thought it was a Jewish holiday. Apparently it's Catholic. But to be completely honest, I still don't know what it is... yes I am celebrating though. haha. I was informed by my knowledgeable friend from school that I'm supposed to give up snacks on wednesdays. But lets face it, that's not gonna happen. I thought long and hard about what I was going to give up and I came to the conclusion that it would only be fair to give up two of my favorite things. Desserts and boyfriends. Sorry fellas. The only boyfriend I'll be having for the next few weeks is Lent.
Lent Lent Lent. Love it!

sorry Ryan. Maybe after easters...

I definitely will not even be craving this... at all. That's for sure

MiDdLe ScHoOl AnD mYsPaCe :P

To all my loyal followers... and haters,
As you probably noticed and/or heard, I lost my camera charger. It's been a huge tragedy in my life and I make sure to tell everyone that I come in contact with. (my teacher didn't really care that much... rude) Anyway. Good news my friends. My sis and bro in law are in town and you guessed it!!!! They brought their camera, which obviously means I can blog again. WoOoOoO! So as i was sitting, pondering what to blog about, I had to ask myself a few basic questions.
1. What have I been pretty into the past couple weeks?
2. What would make a fun and flirty post?
3. What is the blogging world ready to hear from me?

It took me a couple minutes to figure it out, but then it just hit me.
MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I shouldn't have even needed to think about that one. 8th grade was my best year by far. Not only was I super smart and sporty, I was also extra fun and flirty. If you try to remember back to 2005 you will remember that myspace was pretty big back then. This was way before facebook and google were cool. Now that's where i spend all my time. Anyway... There were lots of things that were cool in the 8th grade. Passing notes, waiting for boys to wink at you then sending them a classy kiss blowin back their way, sneaking food in class, stalking janitors, and last but not least having the best myspace profile pic! If you didn't have a hot one, you weren't cool. Obviously I always had great pictures and in turn made lots of friends. So in honor of middle school and myspace, here are a few glamors I took... in the bathroom. It's the only appropriate place to do it.

P.S.
I hope you all know that I am being completely serious and not joking about this stuff in anyway... thank you and good night

It's Hurr Time!

Hola amigos! Today the world experienced a glorious event. Today was the first time I attempted to highlight a real human's hair. My lovely and willing model was my one of my dearest sisters, Ali Childs. The whole experience was really great. I made record time (only took me 2 hours plus an extra 45 minutes to process. WoW!) and I created a beautiful splotchy weave. It's really to die for! Okay but in all seriousness how could Ali ever look bad. Am I right or am I right?! She totes rocks it!

Exhibit: A

As you can see in exhibit A, Ali is sad and flat out unhappy with her life. she wanted something more vibrant and lively. She was sick of people telling her that she would never learn to tie her shoes or get a job or have a boyfriend. Well I got news for you girl. You can do all those things with your new hair!!!

Exhibit: B

Now Ali, as you can see, is happy and full of life!

Exhibit: C

I guess all i have to say is Ali and I had a great time together and since she held still (kinda sorta) and refrained from talking so much, she got ice cream!!! How neat is that?! That's pretty neat! Ha!

.... No after pictures. Sorry folks.

Weekend at the Kilgores

A few weeks ago Sharli and Babe, some of the coolest parents I know, took a weekend trip to Vegas. (BABE!!!! BABE WAIT!!!! BAAAAAAAAAAABE!) So of course I got to babysit their adorable girls. I wish to someday have girls that are half as cute as Rylee and Hadley. They're they best. Pretty sure we watched six or seven movies and spent over 8 hours at the park. Good times. Good times.

Someone had a crush on plastic head with third world country hair... yikes

Hadley

okay. so funny story. I was in Hadley's room getting her all ready for the park and cleaning up. I was probably only in there for about 7 to 5 minutes and when I came out Rylee had quite the surprise for me. She had made three lunches (one for each of us obviously) and shoved them all into Hadley's little lunch box. Each lunch included a turkey sandwich with 3 m&ms in the baggie (one of each color. she wanted to make it fair), a gogurt, and a drink. She is so thoughtful and quite talented...She's only 6.

Look how she put the bread together. Love it! Just ignore my crusty hands.

Rylee

... I didn't teach them those poses.

Welcome to Emily's Salon

Oh, hello there. Welcome to Emily's Salon. Thanks for dropping by. (That's what I said to mother when she entered my salon. actually I didn't. That was all a lie) A few weeks ago Rainy was brave enough to let me cut and color her hair. I hardly cut any off, but I think it was a huge success. So far in school I've learned perms, wet sets, mani/pedis, scalp treatments, and I'm pretty good with a blow dryer. I think we're learning color next week! WOOHOO!!! so excited.

Before.

My mama is so pretty

zig zag part for good measure... her idea

Finished product. Looking beautiful as always. I left the hair on her shoulders for a more dramatic effect.
