A few weeks ago Sharli and Babe, some of the coolest parents I know, took a weekend trip to Vegas. (BABE!!!! BABE WAIT!!!! BAAAAAAAAAAABE!) So of course I got to babysit their adorable girls. I wish to someday have girls that are half as cute as Rylee and Hadley. They're they best. Pretty sure we watched six or seven movies and spent over 8 hours at the park. Good times. Good times.
Someone had a crush on plastic head with third world country hair... yikes
Hadley
okay. so funny story. I was in Hadley's room getting her all ready for the park and cleaning up. I was probably only in there for about 7 to 5 minutes and when I came out Rylee had quite the surprise for me. She had made three lunches (one for each of us obviously) and shoved them all into Hadley's little lunch box. Each lunch included a turkey sandwich with 3 m&ms in the baggie (one of each color. she wanted to make it fair), a gogurt, and a drink. She is so thoughtful and quite talented...She's only 6.
Look how she put the bread together. Love it! Just ignore my crusty hands.
Rylee
... I didn't teach them those poses.

Welcome to Emily's Salon
Oh, hello there. Welcome to Emily's Salon. Thanks for dropping by. (That's what I said to mother when she entered my salon. actually I didn't. That was all a lie) A few weeks ago Rainy was brave enough to let me cut and color her hair. I hardly cut any off, but I think it was a huge success. So far in school I've learned perms, wet sets, mani/pedis, scalp treatments, and I'm pretty good with a blow dryer. I think we're learning color next week! WOOHOO!!! so excited.

My mama is so pretty
zig zag part for good measure... her idea
Finished product. Looking beautiful as always. I left the hair on her shoulders for a more dramatic effect.
